MEMENTO MORI

Always fascinated by hand painted textures, MEMENTO MORI was my introduction into the style. I accomplished it by bringing the object space normal maps into a painting software, and blocking in planes where the light would interact with the mesh. I also took this map, and used it as the base for the color. While there are more efficient ways of doing this process, this allowed the most fine-tuned control over the style.
